Parking

Free parking is available on the High Street and the majority of side roads.  The car park in the centre of the High Street is free for a 20 minute stay (but you must get a ticket from the machine), £1 for a 1 hour stay £2 for a 2 hour stay and free between 7pm and 7am.

Chairs

There’s a spare, fold-up 7th chair and a child's high chair in the cupboard-under-the-stairs.

 

Spare Pillows

There are spare pillows in the drawers in the two double beds.  A red towel is in the main bathroom cupboard for any guests that have recently dyed their hair.

 

Hot Water

This is provided by a combination boiler and will always be available on demand.

 

Central Heating

This is programmed at 21ºC between 6.30am - 10.00am and 4pm - 7pm.  All other times are set to 14ºC.  Should you wish to increase or decrease the temperature please use the up and down buttons on the digital thermostat next to the cupboard-under-the-stairs door.

 

Waste and Recycling

Waste is stored in the low, timber shed in the courtyard.  Glass in the black, plastic box.  Cardboard in the bright blue bag. Plastics and tin cans in the large white bag. Everything else in the black plastic dust bin. 

 

TV

To operate the TV, you will need to switch on both the Bush TV and Humax receiver remote controls.  To select channels please use the Humax controller.  We have a large selection of children’s films stored on the Humax.  To view these please press ‘Recordings’ on the Humax remote.  There is also DVD built-in to the TV, this can be found on the right hand side and controlled with Bush TV remote.

 

Tourist Information

The Tourist Information Office is located on the High Street.  Please turn right on to the High Street and it will be found on your right after about a minutes walk.

 

Bus Stop

The Bus Stops are located outside the Library next door and opposite outside the Town Hall.

 

Petrol/Gas Station

The nearest Petrol Station is at Willersey Garage, WR12 7PJ (3 miles), Open 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am - 12.30pm on Saturday, Closed on Sunday.

IN CASE OF FIRE

There is a fire blanket in the cupboard under the stairs and a fire extinguisher at the foot of the stairs.

 

In case of a larger fire please exit the building and immediately telephone 999 and request the Fire Service.
